Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Luke 8:4-15):

Lord Jesus Christ,

On this blessed Saturday, we come before You with a grateful heart. Thank You for the gift of another day, for Your unfailing mercy, and for the love You pour into my life. Lord, make our heart good and fertile soil. Do not allow Your Word to remain only on our lips. Let it take root deeply within us. Remove the stones of hardness, the thorns of worry and worldly distractions, and everything that prevents us from growing closer to You.

Lord, when difficulties come, keep us faithful. When we are tempted, give us strength. When we are anxious, give us peace. When we become discouraged, renew our hope. When we receive Your blessings, keep us humble and grateful. Help us to listen to Your Word with an open heart, to treasure it, and to put it into practice each day.

Lord, plant Your love in us so deeply that our life may bear good fruit: love, patience, kindness, forgiveness, faithfulness, and compassion. Bless our families and everyone we love. Watch over those who are sick, lonely, worried, or struggling. Give them the grace they need and remind them that they are never alone.

O Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, help us to receive God’s Word as you did—with humility, faith, and complete trust. Pray that my heart may always say yes to God.

Lord Jesus, help us not merely to hear Your Word, but to keep it and persevere until it produces abundant fruit. And may everything we do today bring glory to Your Name and become a blessing to others. Amen
