Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Mark 1:21-28)

Lord Jesus Christ, You entered the synagogue and taught with authority, not as the scribes, but as the Holy One of God. Your word is living and powerful, able to pierce the darkness and set hearts free.

We come before You with our fears, our struggles, and the hidden chains that bind us. Speak Your word into our lives, O Lord, and drive away all that opposes Your love and truth. May Your presence bring healing, freedom, and peace.

Teach us, Lord, to listen attentively to Your voice, to trust in Your authority, and to allow Your Gospel to shape our thoughts, words, and actions. May we never grow accustomed to Your word, but always be filled with wonder and reverence at Your power.

Lord, strengthen us to be witnesses of Your saving love, so that others may recognize Your work in us and glorify the Father. You are the Holy One who restores life and hope. Amen!
