Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Mark 3:7-12)

Lord Jesus Christ, You drew people from every place to Yourself, from Galilee and Judea, from beyond the Jordan, from near and far, because in You they found healing, hope, and life.

As the crowds pressed around You, Lord, You did not turn anyone away. With compassion, You healed the afflicted and revealed the power of God’s love that unites rather than divides.

In this Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, we bring before You Your wounded Body, the Church. Heal the divisions among Christians, the misunderstandings, pride, and fears that keep us from fully witnessing to Your Gospel.

Lord Jesus, You silenced the unclean spirits who sought to speak falsely of You. Purify our words, Lord, that we may speak the truth in love and confess You with humility and faith: Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior of the world.

Grant us, Lord, hearts open to one another, as You welcomed all who came to You. May our unity become a sign of healing for the world, so that all may be drawn to You and recognize in us Your compassion and mercy. Lord Jesus, make us one, as You and the Father are one, that the world may believe. Amen
