Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Luke 10:1-9) as we celebrate the Memorial of Saints Timothy and Titus, Bishops:

Lord Jesus Christ, You sent Your disciples out two by two, to prepare the way for Your Kingdom, to proclaim peace, to heal the sick, and to announce that the reign of God is at hand.

On this Memorial of Saints Timothy and Titus, faithful bishops and devoted co-workers of St. Paul, we thank You for shepherds who listened to Your call and gave their lives to the service of the Gospel. Like them, You send us today into a world longing for hope, healing, and truth.

Grant us, Lord, the courage to go where You send us, the humility to trust not in our own strength, but in the power of Your Word. Teach us to be bearers of peace in divided homes, in wounded communities, and in restless hearts. May our presence open doors to Your mercy, and our words reveal Your nearness.

Lord, strengthen all bishops, priests, deacons, and missionaries, that, following the example of Saints Timothy and Titus, they may preach with integrity, lead with compassion, and guard the faith entrusted to them.

Heal the sick through Your grace, renew the weary, and make our lives a living proclamation that the Kingdom of God is among us. Send us forth, Lord, as laborers in Your harvest, faithful, joyful, and united, until all may know Your saving love. Amen
