Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Mark 3:20-21) as we celebrate the Memorial of St. Francis de Sales:

O Lord Jesus Christ, You who knew misunderstanding even among Your own, and remained gentle, faithful, and obedient to the Father’s will, we entrust to You today the members of our families.

As we celebrate the Memorial of St. Francis de Sales, teacher of charity, patience, and gentle love, grant us, Lord, his spirit in our homes and relationships. Teach us to speak with kindness, to listen with humility, and to love one another without harshness or judgment.

Lord, bless our parents, children, siblings, and relatives; those who walk closely with us and those who feel distant. Heal wounds caused by misunderstanding or fear, and strengthen the bonds of unity and peace in our families.

May our homes become schools of holiness, Lord, where faith is lived daily through small acts of love. Through the intercession of St. Francis de Sales, help us to reflect Your meek and humble Heart, and to remain rooted in Your truth and mercy. You who live and reign forever and ever. Amen
