Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Mark 4:21-25)

Lord Jesus Christ, 

You are the true Light that cannot be hidden, the lamp meant to be placed on a stand so that all may see and be guided by its glow. In this digital age, where words travel fast and images reach far beyond our sight, teach us to live with integrity and truth. Guard us from the temptation to hide behind screens, to measure our worth by likes and approval, or to dim the light of faith out of fear or convenience.

Lord Jesus, You remind us that nothing hidden will remain concealed. Purify our hearts, our intentions, and our digital presence, that what we share reflects who we truly are in You. May our online words be sincere, respectful, and life-giving, and our silence intentional, rooted in wisdom and discernment.

Help us Lord, to measure generously, with mercy instead of judgment, with truth instead of distortion, with love instead of division. For as You teach us, the measure we give is the measure we shall receive.

Lord, grant us ears that truly listen, hearts that remain authentic, and lives that shine consistently, both online and offline, so that Your light may be seen through us in a world searching for meaning and hope. Amen
