Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Matthew 7:7-12)

Heavenly Father, 

You teach us through Our Lord Jesus Christ to ask, and it will be given; to seek, and we shall find; to knock, and the door will be opened to us. Lord, I come before You as Your child, trusting not in my own strength, but in Your boundless mercy and fatherly love.

Lord Jesus, grant me the grace to ask with faith, to seek with perseverance, and to knock with humble confidence in Your Divine Will. When my prayers seem unanswered, strengthen my trust. When the way seems hidden, deepen my hope. When the door feels closed, increase my patience.

God Our Father, You never give a stone when Your children ask for bread. Give me what is truly good for my soul, even when it differs from what I desire and teach me also to live the Golden Rule, to do to others as I would have them do to me.

Lord Jesus, form my heart after Your Sacred Heart, that I may reflect Your goodness in my words, Your mercy in my actions, and Your charity in my daily life. May I seek first Your Kingdom, trust fully in Your providence, and become an instrument of Your love. Amen
