Lord Jesus Christ,
You sat beside the well of Jacob and spoke to the Samaritan woman
about the living water that gives eternal life and You revealed that true worshippers must worship the Father in spirit and in truth. Open our hearts, Lord, so that we may understand Your words and respond to them with sincerity and faith.

Forgive us, Lord, for the times when our worship is incomplete. Sometimes we choose only the parts of Your truth that are comfortable for us to accept. Sometimes we remain ignorant of Your Word because we fail to seek deeper understanding and sometimes we approach You with fear or superstition instead of trusting in Your love.

Purify our hearts, O Lord. Remove from us every form of false worship. Free us from selective faith, from shallow belief, and from rituals empty of love but give us the grace to seek the fullness of Your truth and teach us to know You more deeply through Your Word, to love You more faithfully in prayer, and to follow You more generously in daily life.

Like the Samaritan woman, Lord Jesus, draw us to the living water that only You can give. Let Your grace become within us a spring of life that renews our hearts and transforms our lives that we may worship the Father with minds that seek truth, with hearts filled with love, and with lives marked by obedience and fidelity. May our worship not be merely words or gestures, but a living relationship with You, a faith that listens, believes, and follows. And when we encounter You, send us forth like the Samaritan woman to share the joy of Your salvation with others. Amen
