Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Matthew 5:17-19)

Lord Jesus Christ, 

You came not to abolish the Law and the Prophets, but to fulfill them in perfect love and truth. In Your life and teaching, You revealed the fullness of God’s will and showed us the path that leads to life. Teach us, Lord, to understand Your Word not as a burden, but as a gift that guides our steps. Help us to treasure Your commandments and to live them with sincerity of heart. Forgive us for the times when we ignore Your teachings, or try to choose only what is easy while neglecting what requires sacrifice and conversion.

Give us humble hearts, Lord, that listen attentively to Your voice. Strengthen us to live faithfully even in the smallest things, for You remind us that whoever is faithful in the least is great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Lord Jesus, let Your Gospel shape our thoughts, our words, and our actions. May our lives become a witness to the beauty of Your law of love. Grant that we may not only keep Your commandments, but also help others to discover the joy of walking in Your truth. Amen
