Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Luke 11:14-23)

Lord Jesus Christ,
You revealed the power of God when You cast out the demon that made the man mute. Through Your mercy, the silent spoke again, and the people marveled at the works of God. Yet even in the face of Your goodness, some doubted and hardened their hearts. They refused to recognize the hand of God working through You.

Lord, protect us from blindness of heart. Do not let us fall into doubt, pride, or division. Give us the grace to recognize Your presence in the works of love, healing, and truth around us. 

You taught us that a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. Unite our hearts, O Lord, so that we may remain faithful to You in all things. Free us from every force that keeps us from Your light, from sin, from fear, from spiritual blindness. May Your Word cast out all darkness from our lives and fill us with the peace of Your Kingdom.

Lord Jesus, You remind us that whoever is not with You is against You, and whoever does not gather with You scatters. Help us to stand firmly at Your side, to choose Your truth each day, and to work with You in building Your Kingdom of love. Strengthen our faith during this holy season of Lent. Make us instruments of Your peace, witnesses of Your power over evil, and faithful disciples who gather others into Your light and may our lives proclaim the victory of Your grace and the mercy of the Father who sent You to save us. Amen
