Praying with today’s Gospel Reading, Matthew 13:54-58, as we celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker:

Lord Jesus Christ,

As we begin this new month, we thank You for the gift of life, for the opportunities before us, and for the dignity of labor through which we serve You and others. Bless all workers, Lord, those whose efforts sustain families and build society. Grant them strength, fairness, and peace in their workplaces. May their labor be valued and their rights respected.

Lord, we remember especially the unemployed and those seeking work today. In their uncertainty, be their hope. Open doors for them, provide for their needs, and restore their dignity and confidence. Teach us, like Saint Joseph, to work with patience, integrity, and quiet faith. Help us to recognize Your presence in the ordinary tasks of each day, and to offer all our efforts as a prayer to You.

Lord, bless this new month we entrust to You. Guide our plans, sanctify our work, and keep us always close to Your heart. May all we do reflect Your love, and may our lives bear fruit for Your Kingdom. Through Christ our Lord. Amen!
