Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Mark 12:35-37): Memorial of St. Boniface, Bishop and Martyr

Lord Jesus Christ,

Today, You reveal the mystery of Your identity as the Son of David and yet David’s Lord. You are not merely a great teacher or prophet; You are the eternal Son of God, the Lord of history, the Savior of the world, and the King of our hearts. Grant us the grace to recognize You more deeply each day. May we not follow You only with our lips, but with sincere faith, loving hearts, and faithful lives. Lord, in a world filled with many voices competing for our attention, help us to listen attentively to Your voice. May we find wisdom in Your Word, strength in Your presence, and peace in Your promises.

As St. Boniface courageously proclaimed Christ among peoples who did not yet know You, give us the same missionary spirit. Help us to bear witness to the Gospel in our families, workplaces, schools, communities, and in the digital world. May our lives point others toward You, the true Lord and Savior.

Lord Jesus, protect Your Church throughout the world. Strengthen bishops, priests, religious, and lay faithful in their mission of evangelization. Comfort those who suffer persecution for Your name and grant them perseverance and hope. Teach us to approach You with humility and reverence, recognizing that You are both our loving Shepherd and our Divine Lord. May our faith never become routine, but remain alive, joyful, and rooted in a personal relationship with You. As we continue our journey through this day, fill us with the grace of the Holy Spirit, that we may live as faithful disciples, courageous witnesses, and joyful servants of Your Kingdom.
