Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (John 4:43-54):

Lord Jesus Christ, You who revealed Your power and mercy in the healing of the official’s son, we come before You with humble faith. Like that father who traveled in desperation seeking help for his dying child, we too approach You with our needs, our fears, and the burdens we carry in our hearts. Lord, increase our faith. Teach us to trust in Your word even when we cannot yet see the outcome. You spoke a single word of life, “Your son will live”, and healing flowed from Your divine authority. Grant us the grace to believe that Your word is powerful and true, that Your presence reaches us even when we feel distant or uncertain.

Merciful Savior, look with compassion upon our families, especially those who suffer from illness, sorrow, or spiritual weakness. Stretch forth Your healing hand upon all who are sick in body, mind, or spirit. Strengthen parents who intercede for their children and teach all families to place their hope in You. May our homes become places of faith, where Your name is honored and Your love is lived each day.

Lord Jesus, You invite us to move beyond doubt and to believe in the power of Your grace. Help us not to seek only signs and wonders, but to trust deeply in Your presence and in the truth of Your Gospel. Just as the official believed Your word and discovered the miracle already unfolding, may we also walk in faith, confident that You are working in our lives even when we cannot yet see the fullness of Your plan. May this faith transform our hearts and lead us to proclaim Your goodness to all whom we meet. We entrust ourselves to You, the giver of life and the source of hope. Amen
