Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Matthew 28:8-15):

Lord Jesus Christ, Risen Lord,

with hearts filled with awe and great joy, we run with the women from the empty tomb to proclaim the Good News: You are alive! You meet us on our journey, O Lord, just as You met them on the way, and You greet us with peace and hope. Strengthen our faith, that we may hold fast to Your Resurrection.

Lord, give us the courage to announce Your victory in a world that often doubts and resists the truth. When fear tempts us to remain silent, fill us with the boldness of the Gospel. Protect us from the lies and falsehoods that seek to obscure the light of Your Resurrection, as the guards were led to spread deceit. Help us to remain rooted in truth, faithful witnesses of Your saving love.

Risen Christ, transform our fear into joy, our doubt into faith, and our weakness into strength. May our lives proclaim that You are truly risen, not only in words, but in deeds of love, justice, and mercy. Stay with us, Lord, as we continue this Easter journey, and lead us always in the light of Your victory. Alleluia! Alleluia! Amen
