Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (John 20:11-18):

Lord Jesus Christ, Risen Lord,

In the quiet of the garden, You revealed Yourself to Mary Magdalene, calling her by name and turning her sorrow into joy. Lord, we too stand at times weeping, confused by loss, pain, and uncertainty. Yet You come to us in those very moments, speaking our name with love and tenderness.

Open our eyes, O Lord, that we may recognize You in our lives, in the silence, in the brokenness, and in the unexpected moments of grace. Like Mary Magdalene, help us to move from sorrow to faith, from searching to finding, from clinging to letting go in trust.

Risen Christ, call us by name each day, and draw us into a deeper relationship with You. Free us from anything that keeps us from fully embracing the joy of Your Resurrection. Send us forth as witnesses of Your victory, just as You sent Mary to announce the Good News: “I have seen the Lord!”

May our lives proclaim Your presence, bringing hope to the discouraged, light to those in darkness, and joy to all we meet. Stay with us, Lord, and let the joy of Easter remain alive in our hearts. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Alleluia! Alleluia! Amen
