Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Matthew 12:46-50): St. Lawrence of Brindisi, Priest and Doctor of the Church

Lord Jesus Christ,

You teach us that “Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother, and sister, and mother.” Help us to understand that belonging to Your family is not merely a matter of words or external devotion, but of faithful obedience to the Father’s will.

Lord, grant us the grace to seek Your will in every decision we make. When we are tempted to follow our own desires, give us the humility to trust in Your wisdom. May our faith be seen not only in what we profess but also in the way we love, forgive, serve, and care for one another.

Lord, bless our families. Strengthen the bonds of love, heal divisions, and make every Christian home a place where Your Word is heard, lived, and cherished. May our families become true domestic churches, united in prayer and sustained by the Eucharist.

Lord Jesus, we pray for priests, religious, theologians, catechists, and all who teach the faith. Through the intercession of St. Lawrence of Brindisi, grant them wisdom rooted in prayer, courage in proclaiming the truth, and hearts filled with charity. May their teaching always lead others to a deeper knowledge and love of Christ. Amen
