Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Matthew 13:18-23):

Lord Jesus Christ,

You explain the Parable of the Sower and call us to become good soil that receives Your Word with faith and perseverance. Remove from our hearts every hardness caused by sin, every distraction that chokes Your grace, and every fear that prevents us from remaining faithful in times of trial.

Lord, plant Your Word deeply within us, Lord, so that our faith may not be superficial or short-lived. Strengthen our roots through daily prayer, the Holy Eucharist, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and meditation on Sacred Scripture. May we remain steadfast when faced with temptation, suffering, or opposition, never allowing the trials of life to separate us from Your love.

Lord Jesus, as we gaze upon Your Holy Cross today, teach us that true fruitfulness comes through sacrifice and faithful perseverance. May our lives bear the fruits of charity, humility, patience, forgiveness, and peace, becoming a living witness to the transforming power of Your Gospel.

Lord, bless our families, our Church, and our world. May parents faithfully sow the seeds of faith in their children, educators form minds and hearts in truth, and all Christians become courageous witnesses who bring hope to a world longing for Your light. Amen
