Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Matthew 13:36-43):

Lord Jesus Christ,

You remind us that the wheat and the weeds grow together until the time of harvest. Grant us the wisdom to trust in Your perfect judgment and the patience to persevere in doing good, even when evil seems to flourish around us.

Search our hearts, Lord, and reveal every weed that has taken root within us—pride, selfishness, anger, jealousy, resentment, or indifference. By the power of Your grace, uproot whatever separates us from You, and make us fruitful disciples who bear witness to Your Gospel through lives of faith, hope, and charity.

Lord, teach us not to judge others hastily, but to imitate Your mercy and patience. Help us to remember that You desire the conversion of sinners and that Your love is always at work, calling every heart back to You.

Lord Jesus, bless Your Church, our families, and our communities. May we become good seed in the world, sowing peace where there is conflict, truth where there is confusion, hope where there is despair, and love where there is hatred. Amen
