Let us pray with today’s Gospel Reading (Matthew 13:47-53):

Lord Jesus Christ,

Today, You remind us that a day will come when You will separate the good from the evil. Grant us the grace to examine our hearts daily, to turn away from sin, and to live according to Your Gospel. May our thoughts, words, and actions always reflect Your truth and mercy.

Lord, teach us to treasure both the wisdom of the Scriptures and the rich tradition of Your Church, like the faithful scribe who brings forth treasures both old and new. Help us to grow each day in faith, so that we may become joyful witnesses of Your Kingdom in our families, workplaces, and communities.

O Holy Spirit, purify our hearts, strengthen us in times of temptation, and guide us on the path of righteousness. May we never take Your mercy for granted but live each day in readiness to meet You with confidence and hope. Amen
